I am conducting a 3D simulation for the drag coefficient of a cylinder.
The flow is along the x-axis, and I am using a 2D rectangular(x-y) domain with a circular mesh that is pulled in the z-axis direction. For the z-axis boundaries, I am applying periodic conditions, and there are options for both non-conformal periodic interface and conformal periodic interface. I am currently using the non-conformal periodic interface, and I am curious whether this configuration is appropriate for the simulation. Could you provide information on both types of interface conditions? Thank you |
