Some users try and sometimes it works on Win98. But, basically, 'NO', especially for new version.

Do you mean that Fluent sometimes commits calculating errors ?
Thank you Giovanni |

If you can get it to run on Win98 you will be fine (I do it all the time when I give presentations and the computer available doesn't have NT or 2k). The calculations will not change - you will not have different results. However it can sometimes be difficult to get Fluent to load the first time. Gambit is virtually impossible on Win98.

I forgot to add this: getting 512 MB of memory or more to run on Win98 requires a trick. And that trick may slow the machine significantly. Thus you can only get 2D models or rough 3D models to run well on Win98.

I tried to run Gambit on WinME long time ago. Seems you need to edit autoexec.bat and add some environmental variables by yourself. If you are using win2K, the installation program will do it automatically.
