Combution problem

How can I simulate CO combution process in chamber which walls are water cooled? How can I define mixture of gases and reactions insie chamber and pure water stream inside walls? please help regards

For CO combustion which is a gaseous combustion, you can use approach given in tutorial-12 for fluent's tutorial, if your problem is pre-mixed and/or gaseous/homogeneous combustion, based on finite chemical kinetic theory.
for modeling water cooled walls, you can use lumped approach for simplification of the problem, as the main focus is CO combustion. regards kumar |

Thanks a lot! I use directions included in tut.file-12. If I simulated only combustion problem, I would neglect the water cooled walls. My water cooled off-gas duct is 70m long and the outlet temperature is one of the most important unknown I wanna get. I tried to define heat flux for duct walls with negative sign but temperatures of fumes in the vicinity of wall reached T=-3000K !!!
