Hello,
in a fluent course we were told about which combinations of zone types to use and which not to use. They said there are combinations that work better than others. But i´m not sure whether i still got it right. So my question is: if i use a velocity, what do i use for the outgoing material? A pressure outlet or outflow? Hope you can help. thanks sascha |

Probably pressure outlet, but it depends on your problem.
Outflow is pretty much only good for pipe flows. It assumes fully developed flows, which is a VERY limiting assumption. Odds are, the pressure outlet is what you should use. Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason |
