I am solving steady state fluid flow and the velocities from the outlet face of one geometry are to be used as input velocities on the face of another geometry.
The mesh on the outlet face of one geometry is the same as the mesh on the inlet face of the other geometry. The outlet velocities x,y,z were saved as boundary profile file in fluent (as write profile). These values were read (as read profile) into the second geometry. After one iteration if the profile file from the second geometry is read, the values of the velocities dont match, although the coordinates were the same at that face of first and second geometry. san |
