Hi
I am trying to model the heat transfer in a cylindrical annulus using an axisymmetric 2D model. I have a few questions reg. this. 1. I have read in the manual that the axis of rotation for axisymmetry should be the x-dirn, I have used this in my model but I want to know if its necessary or is there a way to change it to something else?? 2. Once the results are generated, is there any way that I can regenerate the 3D model from this 2D axisymmetric model while postprocessing?? (something like reflecting it over the symmetry plane in case of 3D problems) Thanks Satish |
