hai
I am working with hydrocyclones.i want to know how to measure the air core in the hydrocyclone. And what is the effect of meshing on the simulation? |

Hi,
What did you mean by "air core"? (kindly expain more clearly). (I may not be able to answer but I am just another person interested in this topic). thank you karuna |

hi karuna
Its nice to C ur reply. It will be good if I know about your working backgroud if u dont mind. And had u ever worked with cyclones. Hydrocyclone is geometry in which separation takes place with the application of high centrifugal forces applied tangentially. Since it has two openings one at top called as vortex finder opening and other one at the bottom called apex or spigot opening. Due to high centrifugal forces a low pressure zone is created inside the cyclone body and due to that the water or the material reports in the over flow. If u know about cycloen its ok else I will tell u about and about air core mesurement. Thanx With Reagards Rama murthy |
