Hi all,
My study object consist of a spacer device (holding chamber) attached to the MDI (metered dose inhaler). This device the inhalation releases of the spray (heterodisperse aerosol containing a drug in suspension with propellant HFA 134a) with initial velocity 30 m/s, which subsequently evaporate and cool. After one lecture on tutorial "Discrete Phase Models" I think that the "Air-Blast/Air-Assist Atomizer Model" is that type of injection more suitable. However I to keep doubt relatively of the use this type of injection, namely: - Is necessary any boundary conditions in special? I don't understand when in the tutorial say "You must create the atomizing air streams as boundary conditions"?; Thank you for your help. |
