Non dimensional calculations

Hi,
Is there are a possibility to work in dimensionless form in fluent ,If yes how thanks alot |

hi, you can work in dimensionless form!calculate your values and just work with that whatever the units are!!

Yes. Sort of. In the past, I created a new material (Define->Materials...) with unity viscosity and density equal to the desired Reynolds number. Then, generate the grid nondimensionally and that is it.
It gets harder if there is heat transfer involved, but I guess you could do the same thing. |

Please can you explain the manner in detailed How can I defin the governing equations in nondimensional form and how can I define the values of properties Thanks |

I don't think I understand you - what do you mean? Actually, I should also check that I remember correctly what I did. I'll do that tomorrow, but you should keep in mind that this is not really a standard use of Fluent, and it shouldn't make any difference anyway.
