Playing animation sequences

Hi,
I created some animation sequences while running my simulation. I am uanble to playback the sequences, and get a message that a duplicate file exists in that name (and I haven't created any duplicate names) and a warning that says "Cannot process selection on one graphics window while the other is locked". What do they mean and how can I playback the animation sequences? Thanks. Vidya |

I've had that warning before. If I remember, I think that warning suggests that you've assigned the playback to a window that's already occupied by something. i.e. residuals, convergence etc. Assign it to another window.

Yes. I think it's the "same window" problem. So, how do I change to a new window? By redifining? I tried that and it said there's no graphic window open. Do I need to re-start the simulation?
Thanks. |

Also, how do I save the animation sequences into a different file so that I can play them later? Does the system need to be running Fluent to play the animations?
