Hi all
Just a simple question. I would like to know the sign convention for the total pressure calculation. I am simulating a building and find that the the total pressure is negative at locations. Does negative mean it is acting away from the wall or towards ? your help is much appreciated CFT |

Maybe it means just that local pressure is lower at some locations than one in operating condition? Look at the absolute pressure to see the pressure with added operationg conditions.

I have a similar problem, negative pressures.
My Operating conditions are set to "0" so how can I get negative pressures ? When I view the results in Ansys POST I dont have the option to view TOTAL PRESSURE!! how come ? Thanks for the help, Archy |
