Supersonic + VOF in fluent -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

gghazal New Member Join Date: Feb 2011 Location: France Posts: 9 Rep Power: 15	I want to set up a calculation for a supersonic gas jet impinging on a liquid surface I heard that Fluent is not able to model compressible supersonic flows while using the VOF scheme and that it is very unstable. Is this true ?
