In fluent, I have a single rotating reference frame. The domain is comprised of a fluid bounded by a wall. Both the fluid and the wall are moving together.
In the Single Rotating Reference Frame tutorial for a 2D axisymmetric disk, it says that for a rotating reference frame, fluent assumes that all walls rotate at the speed of the moving reference frame, and the wall which is adjacent to the rotating fluid zone is set to be stationary. What is the difference between making the wall stationary vs. designating the wall as a moving wall with motion relative to adjacent cell zone with a speed of 0 rpm? |
