hi every body, i need to simulate tne combustion in diesel engines i managed to found to fire the temperature gets 1700k but the pressure still constant no changes i used finite rate / eddy dissipation model
does any one know why any help will be appreciated |

your post is for a long time ago and now i have a problem exactly like you. if you solved your problem, please help me. i am simulating an spark ignition engine in fluent and i'm using finite rate/eddy dissipation like you. tempreture rise up to 1600k but pressure isnt good. |

ANSYS fluent shows less pressure compared to experimental pressure, in terms of Pressure drop. This is really stupid, I don't know if it's bug or you need to use the UDF with parabolic profile of flow.
