A problem in displaying velocity profile in techplot !

There's a rectangular open channel for which I've plotted the velocity vectors in tech-plot at two sections, one at entrance and other at some distance away from entrance. The problem-or say bug- is that there is no velocity vector visible for the water surface level at the entrance section, whereas for the same position at section two(away from entrance) I see the velocity vectors. I wonder why is that?

it occurs because you do not select your inlet when you extract results for tecplot. |

it is better to export all part in fluent and compute in it
the file extractor sometimes has problems |
