Does anyone have an opinion on the upcoming AMD Zen CPU architecture. Rumors indicate higher core count than the Intel counterparts (8 initially, but with 16 and even 32 core models down the line). This combined with a rumored 8 DDR4 memory channels.... I would guess that would make for a very high memory bandwidth and capable CPU at a reasonable price? Thoughts?
Fingers crossed for HPC superstar CPU |
