Hello everyone! This is my 1st post on this forum

Together with co-workers I am trying to bulid a computer for calculations (among others) in Flow3D for academic purpose.
We have some ideas but id like to here your thoughts.

There are a lot of CPUs available but we are not sure which will be more efficent.
For the moment we are considering:
1. intel i9 13900KF with 16cores Efficent, 8cores Performance and 32threads ;
2. intel i9 10940X with 14cores and 28threads
What do you think ? Any suggestions ?
To be honest we havent definitively rejected AMD processors
I am aware that the performance of the computer will also depend on other components.

Maybe some of you have tested newer CPUs and are able to recommend something else ?
