roued New Member Jens Roued Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 5 Rep Power: 16	Hi, Looking for advise on selecting a Lenovo workstation mid range (limited budget). Mainly model building, meshing. some solving (primary to testing before shipping to HPC cluster) and pre/post. Openfoam and Star-ccm Current the choice seems to be between Lenovo P7 and PX:. Configurations: P7: Intel® Xeon® W7-3445 (or maybe Intel® Xeon® W7-3465X) or PX: 2 x Intel® Xeon® Gold 5416S-processor or (maybe 2x Intel® Xeon® Gold 5420 any advice on memory configuration: 4 x 32 Gb, 6x 32Gb or 8 x 32 Gb Thanks in advance.
