lordvon Senior Member Robert Join Date: Sep 2010 Posts: 158 Rep Power: 15	I am looking to buy a new desktop for OpenFOAM simulations. I would like to quickly run successive simulations with ~80k cells using kOmegaSST turbulence model and GGI. Any suggestions? I am going to buy from Dell. On a i5 (3.2Ghz, quad core) computer with 8gb of RAM the above case for a .25-second-long simulation (max courant 1.0) takes about 7-9 hours. Is this reasonable?
