hello dear friends,
First of all, I am not an expert in the field of infrared camera, neither I am working with one. I know a summer student who came to play with it, I am trying to help him. Apparently the camera works fine with a range of temperature from 300 K to 1500 K. but not from 30 K to 300 K. It needs calibration. does someone knows methods of calibrating it ???

Thanks a lot in advancce...

I could be mistaken, but isnt there a principal problem with low temperatures and infrared sensors?
The temperature of the object has to be higher than the temperature of the sensor (your camera), otherwise the sensor would only detect its own temperature radiation.

Well you're may be right, but after digging more into the problem, it turned out the camera was bought with the range of 300 K - 1500 K. and to work in low range, we needed an infrared calibrator. something like this http://www.extech.com/instruments/pr...=68&prodid=366
Definitely not a cheap device, may be the electronic department in the university has one, that we can borrow
