My project is fluid laminar flow BFS microchannel with 25% step height and increasing Reynolds number.
I'm investigating on velocity vector by view towards outlet. I put 2 planes, that is before and after step height. Plane before step height experience little changes, however velocity vector after step height experience big changes when view from outlet. 6 boxes above is view towards outlet for velocity vector after step height area, from which [upper to lower pictures] are [low velocity to high velocity] respectively. Can someone please help me explain the phenomena above? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced. |
