Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone can explain the location and arrangement of stresses and fluxes in staggered FV... thanks in advance |

thank you FMDenaro but in the book, only pressure and velocity arrangements are mentioned. I'm looking for reynolds stresses and scalar fluxes?

scalar varable are generally located at pressure nodes, Reynolds stresses require velocity components that are staggered each others...

homogeneous correlations uu and ww are each one in the same staggered position of the respective velocity componente, without interpolation, while u and w are in different positions and you must interpolate to compute uw. However, if you want all the Reynolds tensor computed in the pressure location you must interpolate all components...
