Zeke is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I try to simulate the gas flowing through a tube filled with spherical particles in the steadystate regime. The equations are solved using the finite volume method and I try to implement the SIMPLE algorithm to get the correct pressure and velocity fields that satisfy both continuity and momentum equations. I tried for a week to solve the problem but I didn't manage to do it correctly.(I got negative velocities at some nodes )

I will be happy if some one can give me a clue on how to solve the problem. You will find a detailed description of the procedure I adopted in the pdf file attached to this post.

Thank you in advance,
Zeke.
