Hi Ravi,
I had the same problem like you. I suppose the negative sie could be resulted from inappropriate input values. In my case (turbulent diffusion flames inside furnace), I wrongly specified the initial tke and epsilon, since I just followed what was written in the KIVA user's guidance. What was written there about the appropriate initial values should be carefully understood. So, in encountering the problem, I tried to use trial-and-error method on the initial values of tke and eps in every execution of the code until I got a decent result. So, please refer back to any change of the input data or even of the code itself that you made. I have no specific suggestion or clue on any remedy, since the remedy surely depends on what kind of problem you are working on. But generally speaking, you have to be really really really meticulous in dealing with large code like KIVA. Wish you best of luck. zk |
