Isotropic = identical in any direction.
Homogeneous = identical at any location. |

|
thanks, u'=v'=w' is isotopic flow, is this correct.my doubt is for a flat plate near the boudary layer edge the flow is isotropic(u'=v'=w') and near the wall the flow is unisotropic(fluctuations are not equal), but one more statement i studied is smaller eddies are isotropic and these smaller eddies are found near the wall, if so, near the wall the flow should be isotropic,so can u plz explain whether smaller eddies are isotropic or not.
