volume fraction VOF at cell nodes -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

garvitgoel New Member Garvit Goel Join Date: May 2014 Posts: 11 Rep Power: 12	Hi, Does somebody know how to estimate the volume fraction at the cell node. right now i am calculating it by averaging the vof of the neibhouring cells of the node. But this requires a UDF which has to loop over all the cells which results in a n^2 algorithm. Does somebody know a faster way to do it? Or is it possible to obtain it directly from fluent? Thanks
