NACA 4 Series Aerofoil

1. Where is NACA 4 series aerofoil is used? And for what porpose we prefer for different specification, for example if we have NACA0012 then why do we go for NACA2412?
2. What type of aerofoil coordinates used in Aeroplane and also turbine? |

1. Naca 00xx is a symmetric airfoil and it is then used when a symmetric profile is required. Naca 24xx is a profile with 2% camber at 40% of the chord and it is used when a non-symmetric profile is required.
