Hi everyone
I,m creating a model in order to calculate heat and mass transfer to the air from a water and air interface. the relations in literature guide mo to velocity dependency of air flow. I wondering, how velocity is calculated. velocity in interface is zero because of no slip condition.

I'm no expert in evaporation models but as far as I know these models are based on free stream velocity not on interface. I repeat that I may be wrong but the logical choice to make a model for evaporation is to take free stream velocity as a parameter.
