powerflow advantages

Anyone here (not EXA people please) experienced using Powerflow or EXA products? What would you say are the main advantages or disadvantages over Fluent or Star-CD for typical automotive applications?

There was a monster thread on this back in 1999. Loads of name-calling. Quite funny realy. The search function on this site picks it up instantly (search term = powerflow).

Thanks and yep, the thread was quite funny! I wonder if that's a reason why the other software was made to be open free. The clownish and congested remarks also didn't help.
Anyway, after 1999, what's the verdict on powerflow? |
