What is turbulence initialization only? How is it different from the turbulence applied for the whole simulating time? I tried to compare the results with laminar and I found them exact! Then what is the use of this initialization only?
Thanks |

The numerical methods need an initial guess, either transient or stationary. That's why you need initialization values for the turbulence.

If you use FLUENT, hybrid scheme for initialization is the best way. If you don't have information and cannot use hybrid, use value from inlet. This is just a "guess" for numerical solution
