Forgive the simple question, I'm super new at this.

I'm trying to create a monitor report of velocity at a single (derived) point. From poking around, I determined that I should use an expression (definition: mag($$Velocity)) report, then create a monitor with that. However, the expression report doesn't have any place for an input part. Am I missing a step?

Thanks!

What software are we talking about here? It looks like Star-CCM.

You could just create a report of the maximum/minimum/sum/average and choose the velocity magnitude field and the derived part. It works since you only have a single point.
