Hello,
I was simulating a typical Scramjet inlet using OpenFOAM (rhoCentralFoam). The free stream Mach no is 4 and static pressure about 8000 Pa. The total temperature is 300K. I have used the k-w SST turbulence model for the same. Actually I am not able to reproduce the correct results as compared to the analytical data and NASAs experimental data. I have attached the screenshot of the pressure variation along the lower ramp ,below. The shock position is incorrect and also the pressure is under-predicted. Can you please help me in resolving the issue? |
