Hi everyone, I'm in the last year of mechanical engineering and I want to do my final project with cfd.
I'm very interested in aerodinamics, especially in racing cars (F1, Rally, and others) and I'm looking forward to do something related to that. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. PS: sorry for my english, I'm from Argentina. |

Some universities are currently investigating the aerodynamic of wheels since they and their periphery still make up ~25% of the aerodynamic drag. Although this is related to cars in general, it might also be a topic in formula One.
There is also a lot of research going on concerning the aerodynamics of electric cars since reducing the drag would increase their range. Just giving you a few hints on where to look at. Last edited by seph; March 15, 2019 at 03:21. |
