Good afternoon, I would like to share my experience in modeling an air cushion in the Flowvision environment. The formulation of the problem is such that there is a cover of zero thickness, a symmetrical section of the cover - a cylinder without a lower base, at a small distance from the cover there is a wall that has the geometry of a base (let's call it the lower remote base), in the upper base of the cover there is a hole for supplying a gas flow. Such a design is necessary to imitate the stretchable elements of the pillow structure, for which this very gap was made between the cover and the lower remote base, however, calculations showed that the smaller the gap, the more actively the flow is removed from the area inside the pillow, i.e. diffuser principle. Thus, to prevent extensive gas leakage, it is necessary to create a wall on the lower remote base at a short distance from the gap. So far, Flowvision numerical modeling tools do not allow us to effectively include such tensile elements in the calculation, so it is necessary to use similar solutions. If you have a more effective solution, I ask you to write it.
