This is a generalized question related to CFD.
I am trying to simulate Pool Boiling simulation over structured surface having micro-grooves using RPI wall boiling model. I did the minimum cell size calculation with Y+ equation (assuming Y+=30) and found out that the cell size should be around 3 mm. However, the structured surface has micro-grooves of 0.5 mm. This means mesh will go much below the recommended value of 3 mm. In that case, what will be the best approach to select Turbulence model? |
