Dear community,
I am new to this area of CFD. I mainly use OpenFOAM to run simulations, and I wonder what are the steps to validate such software. Specifically, are there any resource with a list of experiments that most people consider before trusting the simulation code ? I'm thinking of things like the setup of the problem (precise definition of the geometry), the quantity of interest (velocity, streamlines, etc.), and the expected results in a clear but concise way. I might have to write some bespoke code, and it would be nice to know what validating CFD software looks like. Thank you, |
