What hardware configuration should be preferred? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Albert Guest Posts: n/a	Hello All! I am planning to use CFX4 for some middle class problems (cell number less than 500.000). And for that purpose I am planninf to upgrade my PC. Unforunately due to budget limits it will be a PC platform with 1 proc. So what should I consider first: AMD vs Pentium, cache, system memory? Say what is better/faster: P42000/256Mb or P41800/512mb and so on? Thanks in advance! Best regards Albert
