Hi Everybody,
I would like to simulate irrigation well drawdown in an anisotropic porous media (2 different porous material); well has a gravel envelope where Non-Darcian flow is presented (turbulent flow). The flow in the second material can be described by Darcy's law. Could someone tell me which free code software I can use to accomplish this simulation? Is there a free code software that I could use? Is there a software that solves Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer equation? Regards Hugo Perea Last edited by HPerea; March 25, 2009 at 16:07. |

Fluent will solve porous media problems. Jiang and whitaker have some good papers dealing with porous media flow as well.

Hi Mettler;
Could you give the citation of one of Jiang and Whitaker's papers, please? Thanks for your answer. |
