technophobe is on a distinguished road
Hi Guys,
I am trying to compare some numerical results from my work with those appearing in the literature. I have some printed graphs (simple line graphs) and was wondering if anyone knows of any software that can scan the graph and read off the numerical values?

I know this could be done with an image processing package such as Illustrator by using the mouse pointer and coordinates read off the image. Ideally though, I'm looking for something a little less labour-intensive.

I'd really appreciate any advice you guys may have
