hello all....
i need your guidance in a fundamental concept.... what is meant by "continuous and discrete phase coupling"? i understand that the discrete phase uses euler-lagrangian eqns. to solve for the particle trajectory.., but how should it be accounted for in a fluid flow consisting of minute particles . how should the discrete phase of the particles as well as the continuous phase of the fluid be coupled together in a CFD simulation.. ( especially using Fluent 6.3).. i`m working on a project requiring such a simulation. please share your knowledge and suggestions, including online material about this,( which is scarce) ... i`m quite short of time in this project. thanks in advance |
