Default wave dissipation a long of x wave flume

hello everybody,

i m running a wave flume case with waveFoam solver and i did a mesh refinement study, but the problem that i couldn't inderstand is that when i refine mesh to have dx=L/100 and dz=H/28 the wave height decrease along x direction can someone explain me this phenomena.
