Dear Foamers!
I am trying to create series of slanted electrodes at the bottom of a channel to show the distribution of non-uniform electric field between them. My geometry is shown in the first attatched image. The red lines are electrodes with a positive voltage and the blue ones have a negative voltage. top view.jpg The second image is another picture from the bottom of the channel. As it is seen, there is a connection between the blocks and the voltage distribution seems ok. In other words, the internal patches are merged correctly. bottom view.jpg However, when I try to merge the patches between the bottom and upper blocks, openfoam gives me an unreasonable result. I think the problem is due to those 6-vertice blocks. I am not able to merge them properly. Front view.jpg Case.jpg Do you think merging patch pairs is the right way to do this? What is the problem? I have attached my blockMesh. Thank you in advance for helping me. |
