Unzoned cells by SnappyHexMesh for a Multiregion Mesh

Hi fellow Foamers,
I am trying to generate a Mesh for a case where there should be two regions: solid particles, and the surrounding fluid (see geom.stl). Both regions are defined by single connected surfaces (attached in the case Mesh4sover_test_Castellate.zip). The issue here is that when castellating, SnappyHexMesh leaves unzoned some cells that cross the fluid-solid boundary more than once (see close2.png). This shouldn't be a major issue if you'd be able to modify cellZone groups. That way splitMeshRegions would work just fine. So far I have created the correct cellSets but splitMeshRegions would not accept anything else than cellZones to split the mesh into regions. Moreover, I tried to split the regions according to the faceZones (-useFaceZones) without success. I also tried -sloppycellZones option without success (see splitMeshRegions.png). I though of making a script to modify the cellZone file in /polyMesh, according to the appropiate cellSet I am able to extract using setSet. Do you guys/girls know any easier way to split the Mesh?
