Hello,
I need to simulate the flow of water over the attached spillway. The pattern on the inside repeats 12 times, but the borders are slightly different. Is there a way to optimize this mesh? Avoiding simulating some of the internal patterns. Thanks. |

Hello,
I think you can use periodic boundary conditions (or cyclic, for OpenFoam). Look for tutorials about channel simulations. Basically, your inlet conditions will be mapped according to what your outlet will "see", so you only need to mesh one spatial period of your domain. Good luck |
