I can create the geometry and mesh in Mesh of Ansys and give name selections to specific faces for one case. And then convert the mesh file into OpenFOAM and do the simulations.
I'm wondering what if I want to repeat the whole process to many geometry with slightly different parameters, such as channel length and width. Surely, it will waste a lot of time for repeating the similar process with my mouse clicking the screen. Is there any way to do the iteration of creating the mesh and naming the faces by script in some software ? |

Hey,
the question is very general and it might have different answers case by case. i's better to define your case, what is the geometry and what you need to do exactly. for example if you want to make several single cubes that are different in their heights, i's easy to write a bash script creating a blockMeshdict in each step, name the patches and the go to the next step. best regards, Amirreza |

Dear arezayan87,
Thank you so much for your reply. My geometry is a plate with different channels and circles, which all region shoule be considered as fluids. Here is the link of picture for the geometry. link: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1m5mR61fuuq0...38mDQ?pwd=1qru code: 1qru The potential geometry will include more channels and circles. Thank you so much. |
