Hello,
I`m running on a cluster some simulations with openfoam and i`m using the command: postProcess -func 'patchAverage(name=top,T)' -parallel |grep 'average(top) of T' >T2.txt to find the temperature and save the results to a txt file. After updating openfoam to 2.4.0 version i get this message: Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-close.c: 811: _dl_close: Assertion `map->l_init_called' failed! every time i use the command above. I have already runned some similar simulations with the previous version and they have worked just fine. Does anybody knows what is the issue and how i can fix it? Thanks |

OpenFOAM 2.4.0 is considered ancient and is no longer maintained so you will not get much help.
Consider using a later version, for example OpenFOAM-v2012 (Dec 2020 release). Either as source, precompiled or via spack: https://dl.openfoam.com/source/v2012/ https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...m/-/wikis/home https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...is/precompiled |
