Hello openFoam experts,
I have been running a simulation on a hemispherical blunt body on sonicFoam which has a total length of 1 m.
The free-stream conditions are:
U = 2339.26 m/s
P = 101325 Pa
T = 300 K
mu = 0.011965
Other thermal properties like Cv are of standard air.
Both the top wall and the bottom wall is supersonicFreestream.

I have validated an experimental data for these conditions in 3D. The drag force matched for about 2*10^6. But when I perform the same in 2D, changing no parameters just adding that the front and back faces are empty (because of 2D) the drag force comes around 7*10^5. This is absurd as a 2D case should have more drag than 3D because of the relieving/relaxation factors for 3D. (I have calculated the forces from paraview as well as libforces in controlDict)

I think I have set up the case right but still have missed something? Please somebody guide me as soon as possible.
