How to remove the part of geometry in STL file

Hi! Foamers

I have STL file in which a rotor and a fuselage are separated each other.
At this moment, I just want to simulate the flow fields around the fuselage, not rotor.
For this, I'd like to remove the rotor geometry in STL file.
How to remove the rotor using commands concerning STL file in OpenFOAM?
I will appreciate it if anybody can let me know how to do that.

well, i dont know how complicated your geometry is

but you can limit your blockMesh box to fuselage, then it would cut automatically

You can do it in paraview as well. Open the STL, clip at the desired position, apply the "Triangulate" filter and save as STL. This has to be repeated, for the inverted normal vector of the clipping plane.

Thank you for your reply.
I have fixed a problem using "Clip"
Your suggestion could be the one to fix it, but when the distance between two parts is too close, it might be very difficult to remove one of them only by using blockMesh.

Thank you for your reply.
As you mentioned, I have removed blades leaving a fuselage as itself using "clip" in paraview.
It was quite helpful for me.
