Hi everybody,
Do you now how can I simulate a baffle that "opens" when pushed by fluid? I heard about the activeBaffleVelocity boundary condition, but when I run the simulation I get this kind of error --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: inconsistent patch and patchField types for patch type cyclic and patchField type activeBaffleVelocity I am using the blockMesh utility for meshing my geometry and I gave to my baffles the cyclic type for the boundary. We can see in the definition of the activeBaffleVelocity condition that it merges the wall and cyclic conditions. So I test the wall condition for the baffles in my blockMeshDict file and the error becomes --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: Attempt to cast type wall to type lduInterface Do you have any idea to fix this problem? I thank you all very much in advance |
