Hello,

I want to model a slip wall with "zero shear or stress-free" BC. I know that symmetry BC can be used to model free shear BC but it is limited only to planar walls, and I am dealing with curved edges. I considered Slip BC on the curved walls - Slip BC ensures zero penetration like Symmetry BC, but does not impose zero normal gradients like the Symmetry BC. So, couple of questions:

1) Does Slip BC in OpenFOAM ensures zero- shear stress? I don't so but I wanted to get opinion of the experts.

2) Is there a BC available that I can use to model free-shear slip walls (curved edges)?

Thanks!
